The Idea Behind It
In the royal havelis and forts of Rajasthan, entire halls were lined with tiny hand-cut mirrors, so that a single lamp could fill a room with shimmer. Sheesh Mahal brings that tradition down to a scale you can hold, place and live with every day.
A terracotta-rust oval framed edge to edge by hand-set mirrors, radiating sun motifs that stand for energy and fresh beginnings in Indian tradition, and a dome lid finished with a hand-carved lotus-bud knob.
A thousand points of light, gathered into a single object.

Every Surface, By Hand
The Mirror-Bordered Panel
A deep terracotta-rust oval sits at the heart of the design, framed edge to edge by small mirrors, each one set individually by hand.
Radiating Sun Motifs
Concentric suns in warm orange and maroon appear on the body and the lid. In Indian tradition the sun stands for energy, warmth and fresh beginnings.
Folk-Art Patterns
Triangles, diamond lattices, zigzag borders and a trident-like symbol are drawn freehand, inspired by traditional Indian folk wall-painting.
The Dome Lid
The lid carries sun medallions with a mirror at each centre, scattered mirror dots, and a hand-carved ridged knob shaped like a small lotus bud.
Made to Be Displayed
A pure display showpiece. Its ivory-cream finish and butter-yellow interior are considered as carefully as its outside, so it looks complete from every angle.
Where It Belongs
Sheesh Mahal is a display piece, made to be seen. It works wherever you want one object that holds the room: at home, at work and in the spaces you welcome guests.
At Home
Entrance & Console
Set it where guests first walk in, across from a window or under a warm spotlight, so the mirror work sparkles.
Living Room & Showcase
Centrepiece of a side table, mantel or glass showcase, styled with brass, terracotta, dark wood and warm white walls.
Dining, Study & Bedroom
On a sideboard, bookshelf or dresser, away from kitchen steam and damp.
At the Office
Reception & Lounge
A single hero object on the reception desk or lounge table that tells visitors your space values craft.
Director's Cabin & Boardroom
A quiet statement on a credenza or shelf behind the desk, a conversation starter for clients.
Corporate Gifting
A rare, one-of-one piece for milestones, awards and international clients, with a story attached.
Other Places
Hotels & Restaurants
For a lobby console, lounge or fine-dining entrance, where one handcrafted piece sets the tone.
Boutiques & Galleries
A display piece for a curated counter, window or gallery shelf, best lit from the side.
Gifts & Occasions
Housewarmings, weddings, Diwali and festive gifting, or a friend abroad who admires Indian craft.

Sheesh Mahal comes alive where light moves. Near a window, under a warm lamp or beside a doorway, the mirrors catch every change in the day.
Living With Sheesh Mahal
Six simple steps to place, light and look after your piece.
Unpack with both hands
The body and lid are packed separately. Lift the body from underneath with both hands, never by the lid or knob, and keep the original packing.
Choose a steady spot
A flat, stable surface at or near eye level, away from table edges, damp areas and reach of children or pets. Best: across from a window or under a warm spotlight, so the mirror work sparkles.
Give it the right light
Daylight from a window or a warm spotlight, so the mirrors catch the light and scatter it across the room. Avoid long hours of direct sun, which can fade painted colours.
Style it simply
Leave space around it and let it be the one statement piece. It pairs well with brass, terracotta, dark wood and warm white walls.
Lid on or beside
The lid lifts off by its knob. Display it closed, or rest it beside the body to show the finish of the piece.
Keep it display-only
It is a showpiece, not a container: do not use it for food, liquids, candles or plants. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Months of Handwork
Not a standard design and never made on a production line. Each stage is done by hand, and each waits for the one before it to settle.
