Description
The Colour of a Haveli Wall
Gulabi Haveli is inspired by the warm, blush-toned walls of Rajasthan’s old havelis, where carved arches and hand-painted flowers turned a plain wall into a work of art.
In Jaipur, the Pink City, walls glow in soft rose and peach at sunrise and sunset, and the havelis behind them are known for pointed arches, carved pillars and delicate flowers. In Indian tradition, flowers are offered in prayer and used to welcome guests and celebrate beginnings, a quiet symbol of purity, grace and good fortune.
This showpiece is not a copy of any one building. It is a hand-made interpretation, built from carved arches, freehand blossoms and gold-tone detailing, made slowly by a team of artisans who treat every piece as a one-off.
“In a haveli, even the walls were allowed to bloom.”
Crafted with Arch & Blossom
Every surface of Gulabi Haveli has been carved, painted or detailed by hand. Here is what to look for.
The Blush Arch
A carved, pointed haveli arch, outlined in gold tone, sits at the heart of a soft peach body, like a window waiting to be opened.
Hand-Painted Blossoms
White flowers with red centres and deep teal leaves are painted freehand around the arch, each one slightly different from the next.
Carved Pillars & Panels
Dotted, textured pillar bands and small carved panels with gold-tone outlines frame each niche, inspired by the stone carving of old havelis.
The Dome Lid
Gold-tone ribs radiate across the lid like the roof of a pavilion, with small painted buds between them and a hand-carved, twisted knob at the crown.
Made to Be Displayed
Gulabi Haveli is a pure display showpiece. Its soft peach finish glows in daylight and in warm evening light, and its scalloped petal borders keep it looking complete from every angle.
3 to 4 Months
& 8 to 10 Artisans
This is not a standard design and it was never made on a production line. Each stage is done by hand, and each stage waits for the one before it to settle, which is why one piece takes months rather than days.
