Where the Maharaja Held Court
Inside Amber Fort stands the Diwan-e-Aam — the Hall of Public Audience — where the Maharaja received his subjects beneath soaring sandstone arches and crystal chandeliers.
Petitioners, nobles, and foreign envoys would gather here, their voices echoing off marble columns as candlelight and chandelier-light mixed in the warm Rajasthani evening. It was a room built to remind every visitor, instantly, that they stood before a king.
Ambar Darbar is a tribute to that hall — a deep maroon vessel that carries the weight and ceremony of the Amber Fort court into a single, burning flame.

Sculpted in deep oxblood maroon with antique gold relief — a royal elephant procession carved around the entire body, echoing the durbar’s most ceremonial moments.
Two ceremonial elephants flank the central monogram, carved in raised gold relief — positioned exactly as royal guards would stand at the entrance to a durbar hall
A deep wine-maroon base colour — the same shade historically reserved for royal Rajput textiles and ceremonial drapery in the Amber Fort court
A raised gold-bordered arch frames the Noir Jaipur monogram, modelled directly on the great arches that frame the Diwan-e-Aam at Amber Fort
Small ruby-red studs are set along the gold borders of the vessel — a quiet nod to the jewels that once adorned the walls of Rajput palaces
